About the Event
The 2020 Together for Choice Conference is happening this October 14-16 at Opportunity Village in Las Vegas! Opportunity Village is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping adults with disabilities become the very best version of themselves through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation.
We will feature discussions of best practices in service provision, policy updates, and advocacy tips. Our sessions will cover many important topics including the HCBS Settings Rule, Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), HCBS quality outcome measures, programming, staff training and retention, and many more!
Please join us in supporting a fully array of service options for people with I/DD—including choices for how, where, and with whom to live, work, and socialize. From independent apartments to farmsteads, from competitive integrated employment to specialized wage workshops, we advocate for a full range of programs as diverse as the people we support.
