Please join us as we spotlight Opportunity Village, which offers inclusive housing, workforce development, community employment, day services and more to over 3,000 individuals with disabilities in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Since 1954, Opportunity Village has been dedicated to helping people with disabilities find the very best version of themselves. Through workforce development, community employment, day services, inclusive housing, arts and social recreation, they are able to find new friends, realize future career paths, seek independence and community integration, and unleash creative passions. Opportunity Village thrives with the funding from its social enterprises, signature events and the generous philanthropy of its donors and community partners. Together, Opportunity Village is successfully empowering, employing, and serving people with disabilities – positively impacting lives.

The purpose of our community spotlight events is to share models of high quality I/DD communities across the country, so that those of you who are looking to create or expand an I/DD community can learn from various examples.  There are many different ways to serve individuals with I/DD.  No one size fits all.  What may work for your loved ones may not work for others and vice versa.  The key is to learn from those who have gone through this process.  Their successes and failures can teach us so much and we do not have to reinvent the wheels!
